Andrew Cuff currently serves the Trump Administration in the U.S. Department of Education.

Born in Southern California, Andrew began reading at age six and never stopped. Through his college years and beyond, he discovered the joy of tackling difficult questions and sharing them with friends. His passion for ancient languages, the history of ideas, and teaching led him to pursue a PhD in History at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. During graduate school, he worked in both academic administration and the classroom, including volunteer service with DC Reads elementary program.

While in the nation’s capital, Andrew entered the world of public policy and commentary, working with conservative advocacy organizations and becoming a voice for sound domestic and foreign policy. When Trump was elected for the first time, he moved to Pennsylvania to get involved with grassroots organizations and the Republican Party in the nation’s most important swing state.

Completing his exit from academia, Andrew served for several years as Communications Director for a private consultancy, and had the opportunity to advise America First candidates and institutions around the country. When President Trump was elected for the second time in 2024, Andrew was working with the transition on domestic policy—and received the honor of a Presidential appointment to the U.S. Department of Education—an agency on its final mission—in February 2025.

Currently residing in DC for public service, Andrew regularly returns to his homestead in Pennsylvania for time off with his wife and five children. There, he enjoys getting out in the woods during hunting season and motorcycling the winding backroads of the Laurel Highlands.
